Solve the equation for yy.

Explanation:

-4x+3y=214x+3y=21

Add 4x4x to both sides.

3y=4x+213y=4x+21

Divide both sides by 33.

y=4/3x+21/3y=43x+213

Simplify.

y=4/3x+7y=43x+7

We know that slope-intercept form is

y=mx+cy=mx+c
where mm is slope and cc is intercept on yy-axis.

Let us convert given equation -4x+3y=214x+3y=21 in the above form by keeping yy term on LHS and all taking remaining terms to RHS.
=>3y=4x+213y=4x+21
Dividing both sides by 33, we get

(3y)/3=(4x+21)/33y3=4x+213
y=4/3x+7y=43x+7
is the required form.

If we plot this equation with inbuilt graphic tool we get the following:

Slope=(Deltay)/(Deltax)=7/5.25=7/5.25xx4/4=28/21=4/3
