subsituting in the above equation:
$x = \frac{30}{8} = 3.75$ $x=30/8 = 3.75$

The y-axis intercept occurs when $x = 0$ $x=0$ , so
subsituting in the above equation:
$y = \frac{30}{2} = 15$ $y=30/2 = 15$
