Suppose I chose the value of 3 as $x$ $x$ . Then $3 + 4 = 7$ $3+4=7$

So when $x = 3, y = 7$ $x=3, y=7$

Ok! Lets pick another value for $x$ $x$ . I chose $- 10$ $" " -10$

Add 4 and you get $- 6$ $-6$

So when $x = - 10, y = - 6$ $x=-10, y= -6$
